Welcome to the South Portland Amateur Radio Club or SPARC. The purpose of the club is to promote the knowledge of radio science and other STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) areas among the youth in our communities through organizations such as the Boy Scouts of America. We also promote the exchange of information and cooperation between members, the sharing of radio knowledge and increasing individual operating efficiency. The club also conducts programs and activities to advance the general interest and welfare of amateur radio.

Some of the services the club provides:

  • Free FCC license classes
  • Free FCC license examinations
  • Free Boy Scout STEM merit badge classes

The club meets on the 4th Tuesday of every month (except December) at 7 PM. The club meets at the Mark Memorial Scout Reserve 7528 S. Mark Road, Canby, Oregon, OR 97013. Anyone with an interest in amateur radio is cordially invited to attend our meetings.
